Aberedw Castle, Radnorshire   (Heritage Site)

Ruined castle beside the village of Aberedw in Radnorshire. The castle may date from Normnan times. Aberedw is famous as the residence of Llewelyn ap Gruffydd, last native Prince of Wales. The retreat to Aberedw was the last Llewelyn made before he was slain in battle at Builth Wells.
